Important: Be aware of your route. Many daytime connections from Paris to Italy pass through Switzerland (an additional $50 second class or $75 first class if not covered by your pass). Routes via Nice, Torino, or Modane will bypass Switzerland (consult a good timetable for details). Paris-Italy night trains are covered by the pass, regardless of their route.
This pass is cheaper than roundtrip Paris–Avignon tickets at full fare. But if you only need a couple of trips and are willing to lock in travel times France's advance purchase discounts for point-to-point tickets could save you more.

General Conditions
Children ages 3 and under travel for free
Children aged 4 to 11 travel for half the adult fare. For Saver passes, one child is considered as one person. Therefore an adult and child traveling together are entitled to buying a Saver pass
Ages 26 and over qualify for first class passes only.
Prices may be converted into local currency, please consult your travel agent
Eurail Passes are not available for sale to residents of Europe, the Russian Federation, Turkey, Morocco, Algeria or Tunisia.
Passes must be validated within 6 months of issue.
Passes can not be replaced if lost or stolen. We recommend Pass Security with your order.
